Cornerstone currently owns the Dora Gold Project. Dora is a 12,066 ha project of early stage exploration claims southwest of Merrit, BC. The project had prospecting, mapping, soil sampling and trenching performed on it.
The Company intends to become a developer and producer of metal ore in either precious metals or copper within the Americas. Management has the core competence of discovery, exploration, permitting (operational, environmental and First Nations) development, construction and operation of hard rock, underground and open pit mines plus managing and promoting junior companies.
So far in 2012, the company has evaluated over 60 projects for consideration. While there are good, solid projects available to make deals on, the financial markets make it more difficult to meld a good project with enthusiastic financial backing. The Company believes that the correct combination is out there and will continue to seek projects that will create significant value for shareholders.
