SPENCES BRIDGE ( Dora)
The Dora gold project lies in the Spences Bridge Gold Belt of southwest British Columbia Approxamitly 200 km northwest of Vancouver.
The Belt is a Northwest trending belt of Cretaceous volcanics of Island Arc affinity, stretching from Princeton northwestward to Lillooet with similar outlines continuing futher northwestwardly to Gang Ranch. The low sulphidation epithermal precious metals potential of this Belt was unrecognized until the early 2000's when exploration began in earnest.
Cornerstone has focused on the Dora property, within the Spences Bridge Gold Project Since 2007. Cornerstone owns 100% of the properties subject to a 1.5% NSR.
The Dora programs have included:
3196 soil samples on a 25m x 50m density which outlined 6 strong, cross-cutting, linear gold in-soil anomolies.
25 soil trenches at 1 meter intervals with multi-metre intervals at 100+ ppm gold-in-soil values in 8 of 25 trenches.
2 programs of excavator trenching. Bedrock clump samples included:
